Div 5 

Tough result for us this week as we went down 11–3 to Rocky Ora. A big second inning from their side did most of the damage, and despite some solid moments from our team, we couldn’t quite claw it back.

Lachie had a standout game, going 3-for-3 with two RBIs from the seven spot – a great performance at the plate. Dek and Ben also picked up multiple hits, helping keep some pressure on through the middle innings. In the outfield, Lachie, Beej, and Arndel all took some great catches to help limit further damage and keep us in the contest. Dek battled through five full innings on the mound, working hard despite a few tough patches. While the scoreboard didn’t fall our way this time, the team stayed composed and kept pushing to the end. We’ll regroup and come back stronger next week. 🐾⚾


Div7 Black vs Woodland Wolves was washed out 0-0

Div 7 Blue

On a cold, wet, and wild day at Birralee, Div7 Blue toughed it out in the driving rain to claim a hard-fought win over the ladder-leading Vikings.

The Cats’ bats were hot despite the conditions, racking up 13 hits to the Vikings’ 10. Mark Kerr led the charge, delivering four from four with a double and a booming home run. Clayton added three hits from four at-bats, while Jack and Deklan each chipped in with timely doubles to keep the scoreboard ticking over.

Defensively, the Cats were sharp, Ewie, Jacob, and Angus all took difficult catches, while Clayton provided fouri assists from the circle and Milos anchored first base with nine put outs. Committing just two errors compared to the Vikings’ three the Cats delivered a resilient team effort in testing weather to secure a well-earned 12–6 victory.
