Div 2
Game washed out but re-scheduled for 13/11.

Div 4
Div4 had our 4th evening game for the season. In what was a fair-well game for one of our team we faced Ravens. We jumped out to an early 14-5 lead and wrapped up the win 20-10

Div 5
On what turned out to be a wet and cold late friday night, Div 5 played a good spirited game against the Balga Bandits.
The cats lead off the batting, managing 2 runs in the first. In the field with the rain making for slippery conditions, the ladies decided to change things up a bit, Tennille making her pitching debut for the Cats. The Cats worked hard defensively all game taking some good catches and making some good plays. Alysia then stepped into the middle, making her Senior Womens pitching debut in the second half pairing up with her sister Georgia behind the plate in her Senior Womens catching debut. The girls put in an awesome effort, and despite being the youngest on the teamn did not let that unsettle them.
Unfortunatley, whilst eveyone managed bat on ball we couldnt quite convert to runs only managing a further 2 for the game, the Cats eventually going 4 to the Bandits 19. A Big Thank you to Sarah K (Knobby – Div7) and Shauna Ellis (Div 4) for filling in and allowing us to put a team on the field this week.

Div 6
Game washed out.

Div 7
The ladies Div 7 team had a big win on a late 7pm game Saturday night.
The night timeslot certainly brough out the “crazies” in a few people. Of particular note was our field umpire who was quite possibly blind or worse. In one innings she called safe at first when the ball had beaten their runner by one full stride and then, on the same runner, called her safe AGAIN at two when the runner was clearly two steps from the base! If you didn’t laugh, you’d cry.
Speaking of laughing…
Comedy highlight of the night was the most unorthodox run-down between 3rd and home I think I’ve ever seen. The runner was like a deer in the headlights stuck between Murph and Knobby, neither of which actually had the ball, that was with pitcher Fi. Who started approaching the runner in what could only be described as some sort of “shimmy”, like she was approaching a mischievous puppy and then threw to a Murph for the tag at home.
Comedy central aside, our player of the day went to new starter Claire with a monster outfield catch to close out an innings (lucky it was the 3rd out as there was too much celebrating to worry about getting the ball back into play!)

U16s
This week we faced top of the table, undefeated Woodies and went down 16–5 — but the score definitely doesn’t tell the full story! We kept within six runs all day and held them to their lowest total so far this season.
It rained for most of the game, but Audrey stayed rock-solid in the middle in very testing conditions. It was also our first week with a full team, which meant plenty of rotations and chances for everyone to get involved. The improvement each week is so great to see, the hard work is paying off!
Player of the Week: Stella! Always smiling, always trying, and always listening and learning. Her positive attitude and effort every week don’t go unnoticed.

U14s Black

U14s Blue
U14s Blue took on the Woodland Wolves in just their second game, bringing loads of energy and enthusiasm! The Wolves’ tiny-but-mighty pitcher and strong fielding held us to a few runs, and while we didn’t get the win this time, our team shone with great catches, slick plays, and solid hits. Best of all, they came off the field smiling — that’s a win in my book!

Vets Black
Vets black was on the wrong side of a 14-1 game this week.
The Ellenbrook pitcher was causing significant issues for our batters with only a couple able to make it onto the bases.
Ryan Hoypoy singled in our last innings and Ryan Stewart managed to also hit to the outfield to score Hoypoy.
Voucher to Ryan Hoypoy for his catching and the only run of the week.

Vets Blue
Vets Blue went down to Woodlands 8-5
After a slow start the guys rallied in the end but couldn’t quite get there. Camilo made a great out from right field and Ted took a great catch at 2nd. Adam hit a home run to help bring some runs in.
Camilo took the voucher for his great fielding.
